Starting August 1, 2007 AirAsia increases its flights between Bangkok and Surat Thani from one to two flights a day.
This is good news for travellers from Koh Samui which can now leave for Surat Thani by boat earlier in the day to catch the afternoon flight to Bangkok.
AirAsias one way ticket prices between Surat Thani Airport and Bangkok start from 400 Baht. This is considerably cheaper when compared to tickets of Bangkok Airways to Koh Samui with a minimum charge of 2.000 Baht for the earliest and latest flights when booked online.
