The western way of looking in to the future is maybe a little bit more far and extended than a Thai person only can imagine. Thais stay more in the here and now and next month is far and next year is what?
We get sometimes requests for houses lets say from 11.11.08 till 11.12.08. We ask the Thai owner for available and they say most the time no! That mean the house is free and available but the Thai owner will not or can not plan that far in the future!
We learned that 2-3 month are convinient for them better 1-2 month and best is :NOW!!!
Therefore it is a good idea to start your planings not to early if you want to come to Koh Samui Thailand.
