Editing Your Silver Entry

On this page we will show you how you can edit your Basic or Silver Entry. A special feature of the Samuifinder.com is that you can create new pages and that you can upload pictures also in your Basic Entry. But only you can see the changes. After you upgrade to a Silver Entry and we receive proof your payment, your entry will be visible to everyone. 

Working with the Editor

Please log in and enter the member area. There you will find in "my entries" your existing addressbook entry!

It looks like this:

You can see the name of your company ( in this example: Pool Graphic). Under the name you will see the following three icons: 

This icon is the edit button. After you click on it you can edit your address page. For example you can change your address, telephone numbers, fax, etc.

With this icon you can delete pages. For security you will be asked again, before you delete your address page.

By clicking on this button you can add new pages to your entry. Up to five (5) pages are possible. For example you add a Home, About, Products, and Gallery page for your entry.

Every time you add a page you will find the edit and the erase button for every new page. A Contact page is automaticly added to your entry.

You can make a translation for every page in the language of your choice. The actual language in which your page is present is shown up in bold. In this case above it is DEUTSCH (ENGLISH). If you select German a form will be opened, allowing you to translate the page into German.This unique feature of the Samuifinder.com helps you publish information on your offerings and services in three (3) languages! (English, German, Thai)

Now we will add a new page. Click this button!

You will see a page which looks like this:

Give your new page a title, for example "About us". This will be the title shown in the  top navigation line of your entry. (Short titles are good!) Than you can make a title for the body of the page. You can also your page design, for example "text only", "text and pictures" and "pictures only". If you decide to mix text and pictures you also can pick the image alignment. You can upload pictures and write a caption.Please be aware that you can upload pictures in jpg, png and gif formats. Don´t use big pictures with 100-200 KB or more!

This is the text editor with basic functions. Please don't forget to save your work. With save & show you can directly see the results of your efforts.

Page Translations

You can switch between English, Thai and German by clicking on the appropriate link on the navigation bar on the top of every page.

You can have any page in your Silver Entry appear in one of the other languages hosted on Samuifinder.com. All you have to do is to login and go to your entry. Under the "edit", "delete" and "add new page" icons you will see links allowing you to add a translation version to any page in your entry.

Just click on the appropriate link, for example "Translate to German". You will see a copy of the page in question in the original language. Just translate the text, change the picture captions or add different pictures. After you save this page, you will have two language versions of this page in your entry. You can see what your entry looks like by clicking on the language link on the navigation bar at the top of every page at Samuifinder.com.
